Dr. Holly,
Good morning! Over the past few years, I have tried to force myself to send handwritten notes. You should receive one in “snail mail” very soon.
Your remarks at Commencement could not have been better delivered or more appropriate. Our graduates, guests, faculty, and staff heard a relevant, inspiring message. The standing ovation by our College of Nursing faculty spoke volumes. I have re-read your prepared remarks at least three times, and will continue to do so over the years as the lessons therein are timeless.
I enjoy reading all of your messages, including the ones you send directly and those on social media that cross my path. I envy your ability to write so well and so prolifically! Perhaps one day, we can get together in an informal setting for a philosophical discussion on the modern world. I would enjoy that very much.
I cannot thank you enough for your support of Northwestern State. As you know, this is a special institution with immense potential. Your engagement with us has already helped us immeasurably.
With warmest regards,
Jim
